The Senior Adult Ministry (SAM) was started by Rev. Marvin and Cornelia Clipp in October of 2000 with Howard and Pearl Darden as directors. SAM is a fellowship opportunity for those 50 years of age and older, which meets on the second Monday of each month in the Ephesus Fellowship Hall at 11:00 a.m. In addition to a covered dish lunch, there are planned programs including time for scripture and devotion and a speaker on various topics of interest or musical entertainment.

The group has consistently grown. Guests of Ephesus members and members of other local churches have attended. The group takes trips on the church van to local dinner theaters and places of interest, as well as Lancaster, Pennsylvania to Christian plays and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to musical shows. It is great Christian fellowship enjoyed by all.
